Justin Sinclair
I first learned of the healing virtues of plants when living with Native American Indians in the Cascade mountain range of Oregon in my early twenties. It opened my eyes to an entirely new world that was full of unrealised potential and opportunity for health. Needless to say, herbal medicine is one of my particular areas of interest.
After completing a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) with the University of New England, I also completed subsequent diplomas in Botanical Medicine, Homeopathy, Remedial massage and Clinical nutrition with ACNT. In addition, I completed a Master of Herbal Medicine with the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Pharmacy.
Since then, I have been practicing for the last 10 years at various clinics in NSW and Queensland, and have been a lecturer at the Endeavour College of Natural Health (Formerly the Australian College of Natural Medicine) for the last 4 years. I have also served on the Board of Directors for the National Herbalists Association of Australia, and write articles and book chapters on herbal medicine when time allows.
Here is something I want you to ponder for a moment…Good health is not merely the absence of disease. It is complete emotional, physical and mental well-being, and being treated holistically by a Naturopath or Herbalist allows these three very important aspects of who you are to be integrated harmoniously together. We are so much more then just flesh and blood, and in this modern world we often fail to sometimes take the time out to consider our mental and emotional health, which can actually impact our physical body.
Blending the best of both modern Science and traditional knowledge, my clinical interests include osteoarthritis and joint pain, digestive disorders and general health and well-being. I am also very happy to work with your orthodox medical practitioner in tailoring a treatment plan around any pre-existing health conditions or medications you may currently be taking.
