Hello, my name is Insa and I am a Naturopath with an immense passion for wellness and healthy living. In my spare time you will often find me making herbal concoctions, experimenting in the kitchen or spending time in nature. However, like most people, I haven’t always felt healthy. Having personal experience with acne, anxiety, depression, digestive issues and hormonal imbalances, I understand the effects that physical ailments have on other aspects of your life, including mental, emotional and spiritual health. This experience has given me a thorough appreciation of the necessity of addressing each of these interrelated aspects for deeper healing. Naturopathy provides an amazing toolkit for this, with the ability to devise a holistic treatment plan using a dynamic combination of herbal medicine, flower essences, nutrient supplementation and dietary and lifestyle modifications, all specifically tailored to your unique needs.
In today’s fast paced society, I find that stress is often an underlying factor for many of my clients. In addition to my Naturopathy qualification, I also have a degree in Psychology and am particularly interested in supporting individuals with:
Stress management, mood imbalances, anxiety and depression
Digestive issues including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), food intolerances, bloating and reflux
Skin issues such as acne, dermatitis and eczema
Female reproductive disorders including irregular periods, painful periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
I believe that a wholefood diet is at the centre of vibrant health, but understand that the multitude of nutrition information and popular diet approaches can be overwhelming, to say the least. I aim to take the confusion out of healthy eating, providing clients with fuss-free recipes to help (re)spark your love of cooking. I regularly share recipes and health tips on my website, as well as my Instagram and Facebook pages.
I understand that change can be difficult and take a gentle and non-judgmental approach, working with you wherever you are to achieve sustainable changes that align with your personal health goals.
