Tina is one of our Senior Naturopaths and Clinical Nutritionists, bringing almost 20 years of clinical experience supporting people with a wide range of health presentations. She has also spent many years lecturing and supervising student clinics within naturopathy and nutritional medicine degrees, including roles with Torrens University, Endeavour College of Natural Health, and Southern Cross University, where she worked as a clinical trial research assistant and unit developer. She continues to contribute to naturopathic education today through her role as a Clinical Supervisor within the Torrens University Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) program. Tina is currently completing a PhD in Public Health, researching the role of Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) practitioners in preventive care.
Tina takes an integrative, evidence-informed approach to healthcare and enjoys working collaboratively with patients to understand the factors contributing to their wellbeing. She has experience supporting people across all stages of life, from those seeking to optimise their health through preventive care and healthy ageing, to those experiencing longstanding and complex presentations. Tina offers dedicated Complex Case appointments for patients seeking a more in-depth assessment.
Tina has a strong interest in nutritional medicine and enjoys exploring the underlying factors that influence health and wellbeing. Pathology testing can provide valuable insights into nutritional status, inflammation, metabolic health, and overall wellbeing, helping to establish a baseline and identify opportunities to support optimal health. Where clinically appropriate, functional testing, such as comprehensive stool analysis, may also be discussed to provide additional information and guide personalised care. Testing is considered thoughtfully and only recommended when it is likely to add meaningful value to clinical decision-making.
Treatment plans are personalised and, with consent, may include nutritional medicine, individualised compounded formulations, herbal medicine, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations. Health rebates may apply.
In addition to clinical practice, Tina provides mentoring sessions for Naturopathic and Nutritional Medicine practitioners seeking support, guidance, and professional development in integrative healthcare. These Telehealth appointments can be booked online.
Tina currently consults in clinic on Fridays.
