BHSc Naturopathy (Torrens University)
I’m a naturopath, a massive health nerd, a lifelong question-asker and someone who genuinely loves figuring out why people feel the way they do.
My path to naturopathy wasn’t really about wanting to work in “wellness”. It was about wanting to understand health. I’m fascinated by physiology. I love pathology. I love herbal medicine. I love nutrition. I love research. And I really love the moment when seemingly unrelated pieces of someone’s health history start connecting.
I’m the person who wants to know why.
Why did this start? What changed around that time? What hasn’t been investigated? Could these things be connected? Is there another explanation we need to consider? And what can we actually do about it? That curiosity is probably one of the biggest things I bring into my consultations.
I’m also a wife, a mum, a person who gets busy, gets tired, forgets things, eats convenience food sometimes and understands that most people do not have three spare hours a day to dedicate to optimising their health. And that probably tells you quite a lot about the way I practise. I don’t expect perfection from the people who come to see me. I don’t really believe in it.
What I do believe in is meeting you exactly where you are and working from there.
